Tucked away in the heart of West Sussex, just a stone’s throw from the majestic Arundel Castle, sits our thoughtfully restored flat - Arundel Hideaways. It’s more than a holiday let; it’s a calm, character-filled space that we’ve lovingly shaped from the ground up.

We’re a husband-and-wife team, one architect, one interior designer (and photographer). And this flat…was our blank canvas.

A Flat with Character

The flat is part of a beautiful period building that houses an architect’s studio below (my husband’s). It still carries its historic bones - we’re not entirely sure how old it is! - thick walls and wobbly floors - but now layered with soft, modern touches: muted tones, warm woods, and design details that reflect our style and how we love to live.

There’s a quiet comfort to the space. The light filters through at all the right times. There’s room to stretch out and relax. It’s the kind of place that makes you exhale a little slower.

Why Arundel?

We fell in love with Arundel long before we made a home here. The mix of history, creativity, and calm is something rare. In just a few minutes’ walk, you can go from riverside peace to castle grandeur, from independent bookshops to artisan bakeries.

Every photo on our site and Airbnb listing was taken by us. We don’t use filters or staging tricks. We want guests to feel like they’re stepping into something real, welcoming, and well-made. If you love natural light, subtle design, and a sense of stillness — we think you’ll feel right at home.
